The play
Act 2 Scene 2
JULIET:
O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?
ROMEO:
Call me but love, and I’ll be new baptized . Henceforth I never will be Romeo.
JULIET:
How camest thou hither, tell me, and wherefore? The orchard walls are high and hard to climb, And the place death , considering who thou art, If any of my kinsmen find thee here.
ROMEO:
With love’s light wings did I o’erperch these walls, For stony limits cannot hold love out, And what love can do, that dares love attempt . Therefore thy kinsmen are no stop to me.
JULIET:
If they do see thee, they will murder thee.
ROMEO:
I have night’s cloak to hide me from their eyes, And, but thou love me, let them find me here. My life were better ended by their hate than death proroguèd , wanting of thy love.
JULIET:
I have no joy of this contract tonight. It is too rash, too unadvised , too sudden,Good night, good night. Parting is such sweet sorrow that I shall say “Good night” till it be morrow.

Ride of the valkyries
Act 3 Scene 3
ROMEO:
Father, what news? What is the Prince’s doom? What sorrow craves acquaintance at my hand That I yet know not?
FRIAR LAWRENCE:
A gentler judgment vanished from his lips: Not body’s death, but body’s banishment.
ROMEO:
Ha, banishment? Be merciful, say “death,” Much more than death. Do not say “banishment.”
FRIAR LAWRENCE:
Be patient , for the world is broad and wide.
ROMEO:
Calling death “banishèd,” Thou cutt’st my head off with a golden ax And smilest upon the stroke that murders me.
FRIAR LAWRENCE:
O deadly sin, O rude unthankfulness! Thy dear love sworn but hollow perjury, Killing that love which thou hast vowed to cherish. Art thou a man? Thy form cries out thou art. Thy tears are womanish; thy wild acts < denote >

Act 5 Scene 3
ROMEO: Ah, dear Juliet, Why art thou yet so fair? That unsubstantial death is amorous, And that the lean abhorrèd monster keeps Thee here in dark to be his paramour?
ROMEO:Come, bitter conduct , come, unsavory guide! Thou desperate pilot , now at once run on The dashing rocks thy seasick weary bark! Here’s to my love. < Drinking. > O true apothecary, Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die.
JULIET: Where is my Romeo? What’s here? A cup closed in my true love’s hand? Poison, I see, hath been his timeless end. Yea, noise? Then I’ll be brief. O, happy dagger, This is thy sheath. There rust, and let me die.

3 Ideas
Talk about father Lawrence's personality, how science and religion influence him. Romeo's love is a irrational decision or not.
Act 3 Scene 1
Compare Romeo, Mercutio, and Tybalt. Are their personality cause the tragedy for them?
Act 3 Scene 5
